Tyce in his big boy chair

Well Tyce has finally graduated to the big boy high chair. He has decided he doesn't like the babyfood any more. Real food is what this big boy needs.

Myla was helping me water the flowers in the back yard. She loves to help out when it come to getting to play with water. It was a real hot day yesterday. We were in the low to mid 90's.

4th of July in Steamboat

Myla, Tyce, and I got to spend the 4th of July with my parents Nancy, and Bob up in Steamboat Springs Colorado. We had a great time. We stayed in my Uncle Jim's house which was originally owned by the Crawford family quite some time ago. He has spent the last several years renovating it and it is now on the National Registry for Historic homes. It is a very beautiful home! We got up and went to the Lions Club Breakfest and then found our seats for the parade. Myla loved watching the horses and fire trucks, but wasn't too thrilled when the water guns came out. Both Myla and my mom got soaked by them. We got to watch the fireworks right from the porch of the house. They were great! Happy 4th!

Visit to Oklahoma City

We took a quick trip down to Oklahoma City to visit with Everett's mom Diane, dad Harvey, and sisters Renee, Bridgett, and Kaysha. We had a very quick trip, but enjoyed every minute of it. The kids loved to see their grandparents and Auntie's. We even got to see Cousin Deidra as she was down visiting as well. Everett and Tyce were very tired from the long drive down. We were happy to attend the wedding reception of Everett's youngest sister Kaysha. Myla and Samara had a great time dancing.
