Going to the Rodeo in Steamboat Springs

The kids and I went to the Rodeo when we were in Steamboat for the Relay for Life. I convinced both Myla and Tyce to run in the Calf/Ram scramble. They both agreed to do so. So Myla was first, she got out there and ran as fast as she could to try and get the ribbon of of the tail of the calf. Then it was Tyce's turn. He ran after the baby sheep and almost got the ribbon, but the sheep turned at the last second, and someone else got the ribbon. They both thought it was Awesome. I asked if they would do it again, and they both said yes. I was standing down by the entrance to the arena, so Samara took the pictures of the kids for me.

Relay for Life 2011

Samara, Myla, Tyce, and myself participated for the third year now in the Steamboat Springs Relay for Life. We joined my mom, Bob, Uncle Jim, Aunt Anna, cousin Emily, cousin Logan, cousin Raina, Aunt Sharon, Sharon's friend Mary. We started at 6:30pm on July 22, and walked until 7:30 am on the 23rd. Samara and myself managed to walk 14 miles each. It was a long night, but we had a great time. Our team "The Crawford House" took 1st place with 919 laps around the track.

Soccer-Myla's Last Soccer Game

Myla had a great season on her "Sharks" soccer team. Coach David, Mason, Jacob, Jamison, Matao, Joey, and Myla were all the members of her team. She was the only girl, but she did great on the team. She even wants to play again this fall, but only if it could be an ALL girls team, so that is what I did. She is not on an all girls team with the Fusion Soccer league.

Tball-Tyce's Last Game

Tyce had a ball playing Tball for the first time this year. He can't wait to play again. He really did a good job listening, and picking up some tips on how to play.

Samara's 8th Grade Graduation

Samara made it through 8th grade. We went to her graduation, which was really nice. She is headed to East High School for her freshmen year, as well as, 9 other kids in her class. Congratulations Samara! We are really proud of you!

Deidra's Graduation May 2011

Everett's entire family was here in Denver for his niece Deidra's graduation from high school. I think this was the first time in at least 11 years that everyone was in the same place together. We had a bunch of fun visiting and celebration Deidra's huge accomplishment.

Easter 2011

We celebrated Easter this year with Grandma Nancy, and Grandpa Bob. As you can see, the Easter bunny, not only made it to our house, but to Church, and to Grandma and Grandpa's house. The kids had fun coloring the 4 dozen eggs. Although, I don't know who is going to eat all those eggs. They enjoyed finding them the next day.
