Myla's 5th Birthday

Myla turned 5 on the 20th of October. She was so excited to have her birthday so she could finally tell everyone she was 5. We had a nice cake and gifts at our house. She also had a little party at her school.

Tyce's 2nd Birthday

We had a small family birthday party for Tyce at Dave N Busters. Everett's brother Harvey and niece Deidra came, along with my sister Michelle and her family JB, Dade, and Roan. My parents Nancy and Bob also atteneded. The kids and adults had a bunch of fun playing the viedo games and shooting basketballs. Everett even got to challenge a Denver Nugget Guard Anthony Carter and the timed basketball shot. It was fun! Tyce had a great time. He loved the Cars Glasses, and was very excited when it was time to sing Happy Birthday and blow out the candels. Thank you all for coming and making Tyce's birthday special by having all of his family there to help celebrate!

Myla's Fist day of School 2009

Myla got up on time and was excited to go to school. She had a great day with her new teacher Mr. Andrew and all her new friends.

Eloping to Estes Park, CO

Everett and I eloped to Estes Park, Colorado this weekend. We stayed at Fawn Valley Inn which was less then a mile to Rocky Mountain National Park. We got married at 1pm in the Rocky Mountain National park on August 15th. The morning was not looking to good as there were lots of clouds and it was kind of cold and windy. When it came time for the intimate ceremony the clouds opened up and the sun was shining. The ceremony was beautiful! We said our vows to each other and exchanged rings. It was perfect. We ended the day with dinner at Fawn Brook Inn located in Allanspark, Colorado which was about 30 minutes from Estes Park. It was a wonderful dinner and a great spot to go back to on anniversary's. We are excited to be united together and look forward to the many years ahead of us.

Thanks Grandma Diane for the Princess Dress

Myla's Grandmother Diane bought Myla this very cute dress. She wore it to her preschool graduation today. I laid it out on her bed this morning, and she yelled to me "Mom, I am going to be a princess in this dress". Sure enough she looks like a beautiful princess to me, but I guess I am biased.

Myla Graduates from Primrose Preschool

Myla graduated from Primrose Preschool Program today. It was such a production. All the kids looked so cute in their cap and gowns. Myla had one line to say and it was "Congratulations to the Class of 2009". She was also asked what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said "I want to go to Kindergarden". It was a lot of fun, and the kids got cup cakes and juice after it was all over. Attached are a few photo's I took from the big event.

Big Boy Bed

Tyce finally got switched over to his new bed. No more cribs in this house. He loves that he can get in and out when ever he wants to, no sure that mom and dad love it so much.....

Myla 1st Soccer game for 2009

Myla's soccer season started at the begining of April but she has only been able to play one game due to bad weather every Saturday thus far. She seems to really like it this year and is even participating and listening to the coach.

Easter 2009

Easter was cold and rainy in Denver this year. The kids had a great time coloring eggs and looking for them in the rain.
